Despite appearing a done deal at one point, it now looks as though Liverpool's pursuit of Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan could be on the rocks after it emerged that Borussia Dortmund are on the brink of signing the Reds' summer target.
With the 24-year-old seemingly Bundesliga-bound, Kop boss Brendan Rodgers will be casting his eye over some of the other goalscoring midfielders who could be available this summer.
