喺《The Football Boardroom》podcast上，修夫基表示：
"I've got no passion just to go and manage in the Premier League."
「我而家冇熱情單純為咗去英超執教。」
佢補充：
"I did that at 35, I finished 11th, 12th."
「我35歲時試過，成績只係第11、第12。」
佢亦明言暫時冇計劃重返教練席。

"The bit that, externally, people are saying is, 'well, he didn't win'."

"So, how do you prove that you can win? You've got to go to one of those big clubs."

"Do I think I could have done the job that some people who have been in those clubs recently have done? Could I do better? I think I could."
