昨日是曼聯的週年晚會，作為領隊的雲高爾，當然要上台向全場的參與者致辭。綜觀全晚，雲高爾可謂莫名興奮，其間更因傑斯於拍賣期間與他爭一樣物品，拍打他的頭部，狀甚有趣。

雲高爾演說中文全文：

引用當你開季10場比賽只有13分，而你是這支全世界最著名的球會的領隊，然後回到主場比賽。我也是人，我也有其他球會的經驗，你會明白你不會太受球迷歡迎。但是，當我踏入奧脫褔，10場比賽13分，所有觀眾仍然站起來熱烈拍掌，我當時在想，球迷有什麼可能仍在支持我？

要多謝球迷好使我們能夠繼續向前走，不止我、還有所有教職員，特別是球員們。效力一間偉大球會，然後開季10場只得13分，加上遇上一名與以往領隊截然不同的領隊一點也不容易。
季初時候傷患嚴重令開季變得很艱難，但我們仍然繼續走，團結一致。這是難以置信的。而這團結精神是全隊的功勞。我記得，我們應該是由第13位爬上了第三位！
差劣的開季後，我們依然相信我們能夠以第二名完成賽季。我記得之得有次全隊會議，隊長朗尼向大家說：「我們向第二名邁進吧！」而我亦說：「去吧！」
大家應該記得足總杯對阿仙奴的比賽。我們踢得更好，但球場上最出色的球員卻犯了一個大錯，令我們輸掉了比賽。之後，你們都記得我們獲得6連勝！
然後，就是對車路士！大家還記得作客對車路士嗎？當時我們有50分，然後朗尼說我們要邁進第二名。然後6連勝，再對陣車路士。那隊踢得更好？今天在這裡你很容易回答是「我們」，我知道是我們，但事實是我們輸了。我們輸了，但你能想像我們有8成的控球率，有10個絕佳機會，對方只有3個，3個！但他們贏了！

如果我們贏了那場比賽，再計算分數，雖然我們之後3連敗，但現在我們落後車路士13分，如果贏了那場比賽，我們有機會成為冠軍！我想告訴大家，我們其實相當接近！

不過，作為領隊，我知道不能這樣計算的。如果分數不夠，就代表著我們要付出更多。然而，我相信我的球員、教職員，以及曼聯這間球會會盡他一切努力！為什麼？因為我們擁有全世界最好的球迷！多謝大家，下季再見！

傑斯剛才對我說，他一定是對的，而今次肯定他是對的。我剛剛說你們是全世界最好的球迷，但今晚，我有少許失望。為什麼？

And then we go to Chelsea. You remember away game against Chelsea? No, no, no, you have to listen. I ask you to listen. What I want to say to you, we are very close!.

And believe me the players but also the staff but also the organisation like Manchester United shall do their utmost best and why? Because we have the best fans of the world.
