Robert Lewandowski: A bright start to the 2011/12 campaign has attracted interest from afar
The agent of Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski claims Chelsea have held informal discussions regarding his client.
The Poland international moved to Germany in the summer of 2010 and initially struggled to make his mark in the Bundesliga, scoring eight goals in 33 appearances.
He has, however, burst of the blocks this season and has already notched seven times in 11 outings.
His fine form is attracting interest from afar, with a number of clubs from across Europe keeping a close eye on his development.
Chelsea are one of those to have expressed an interest in the 23-year-old, with plans being drawn up for the January transfer window.

Lewandowski's agent admits discussions have been held with the Blues, but he has also confirmed that the Premier League giants are not the only side in the running.
"All the big clubs are looking at Robert," Cezary Kucharski told Reviersport.
"All of the clubs are curious about his contract details.
"I am able to confirm that a partner of mine in England has been having chats with officials at Chelsea about Robert."
Lewandowski is contracted to Dortmund until 2014 but a big-money approach could force their hand.
