藍軍望有球員被選入世界最佳十一人 泰利,林柏特,馬基尼利以及杜奧巴亦先後被選中過

In recent history Chelsea had four of its players picked in the FIFPro World XI. This year, the footballers of the English title contender once again filled in their ballots, trying to regain a place on the best team on this planet.

Frank Lampard, Claude Makélélé and John Terry were part of the first ever World XI, back in 2005. Didier Drogba was picked in 2007.

John Terry was a regular in the World XI - with five consecutive awards - until he was dropped last year… And don’t forget about Fernando Torres, who as a player of Liverpool (and Spain), twice made the World XI.

Last Friday, the players from Chelsea lined up to choose their 2011 FIFA FIFPro World XI. Most of the players were present, although Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou were not allowed to vote: they had already participated in this year’s World XI election as a member of the national team of Ivory Coast.
Amongst the Chelsea players voting were Michael Essien, Fernando Torres, Frank Lampard, Daniel Sturridge and Florent Malouda (Malouda on picture above).
