Chelsea starlet Lucas Piazon has moved to distance himself from comparisons with Brazilian maestro Kaka.
It was announced in March that Piazon would sign for the Blues from Sao Paolo in January 2012, after a deal in the region of £5 million was agreed.
The 17-year-old's talents have since been under the microscope like never before, and his playing style has been likened to that of his high-profile compatriot.
Piazon, though, says he and the Real Madrid star operate in different positions and, perhaps, the Sao Paolo connection is their greatest similarity.
"I don't think [we are similar]," said Piazon when asked about Kaka by Samba Foot.
"My style and his style are different because I am a winger, or a second-striker, and he is a central midfielder.
"I don't think the comparison is because of our style. I think it is because we both played at São Paulo and maybe we can look similar on the pitch sometimes."
Although he is not officially a Chelsea player just yet, Piazon has already moved to London and has been training, mainly with the reserves, at Cobham.
And, despite suggesting it will take him a significant time to adapt to English football, Piazon believes his game is well suited to the Barclays Premier League.
He added: "[I chose Chelsea because] I like the Premier League. I think my way of playing and my skills are more suited to the Premier League."
