Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata hopes to face his boyhood idol this weekend against Manchester United.
The 23-year-old has Chelsea fans excited with his pace, trickery and ability to beat a man, something he puts down to idolising Ryan Giggs as a boy.
"When I was growing up, Dennis Bergkamp and Ryan Giggs were my inspiration," said Mata.
"Giggs showed what he's worth with the goal on Wednesday. He is one of the best wingers there has ever been. I paid more attention to him because he plays in the same position as me. He is incredibly impressive with tackling, dribbling and general style."
