Romeu: Chelsea have not guaranteed me any playing time
Chelsea starlet Oriol Romeu insists he has been given no guarantees of first team football at Stamford Bridge.
Midfielder Romeu, 20, quit Barcelona for Chelsea for £5m in the summer because he believed he would stand a better chance of getting more games.
But Romeu said: "Andre Villas-Boas could not promise me playing time at Chelsea. I know I have to go there to work hard, learn and try to take an opportunity when they come.
"Villas-Boas is very different to Pep Guardiola but he's also very close to the players and that was important.
"It will be a magnificent adventure in England. Chelsea are at a high level and I believe it's a chance for me to improve my level."
