里奧：天使履歷表永留污點，曼聯應該購買史東斯 精選

阿根廷球星「天使」迪馬利亞去季以破英超球會紀錄5970萬鎊加盟曼聯後，經歷了不如意的球季。暑假經過了一輪「玩失蹤」後，終於如願加盟法甲球會巴黎聖日耳門。他在記者會表示，離開曼聯是自己和球會本身的意願。
已退役的前紅魔鬼球星里奧費迪南，早前接受訪問時表示，迪馬利亞的履歷上永遠留下在曼聯失敗的污點。里奧認為自己作為職業球員，總不希望有這樣的紀錄，而他也會努力改變，留隊證明自己。里奧認為曼聯球迷失望是可以理解，因為會方花費了一大筆金錢羅致迪馬利亞，後者卻踢了一年便離開。然而，里奧明白這是一單生意，而且有可能是領隊雲高爾認為迪馬利亞不能融入球隊的體系才賣走他套現。

引用"He will now always have on his CV that he was a failure at Man United. As a professional, I wouldn't want something like that on my record. If I could rectify it by staying and trying to prove myself, I would have done that.”

"As a fan, I would have liked for him to stay there and prove he can perform for Man United. That is what we all wanted to see when the club paid so much for him last summer, but that isn't happening, it seems.”

"I can understand why some fans are disappointed that he is leaving so soon, but this is a business. United may have looked at it this summer and Van Gaal has probably come to the conclusion that he doesn't fit into his system for whatever reason. At that point, you have to cash in."

確實，不少球迷認為迪馬利亞的離開代表了他是一個失敗者，反而去年翻生的艾殊利楊格一直為球隊席位奮鬥才值得尊重。


此外，里奧也提及了本年曼聯在後場的增兵情況。他認為皇馬球星沙治奧拉莫斯一直是利用曼聯，為他爭取一份豐厚合約。而里奧認為球會理應購買愛華頓新星史東斯，里奧表示史東斯價錢可能高昂，但絕對值得，理由是史東斯是一個英格蘭的年輕新星，能為球會效力最少十年時間。里奧更認為另一競爭對手車路士無法為史東斯提供穩定的上陣機會。
