羅渣士賽後接受評論首先點名稱讚蘇亞雷斯的傑出表現，認為第一球入球相當可怕，而第二球正正是蘇亞雷斯的典型入球，雖然大概10秒鐘前或射失整場比賽最容易的機會，但蘇亞雷斯並沒有因而失望，反而迅速投入比賽，扭過對手，用腳面射入死角。羅渣士認為這對蘇亞雷斯而言是特別的一天，而更重要的是，對球隊重要的一天。


羅渣士認為球隊今場在傳送、控利都做得不錯，他特意用了兩次「outstanding 傑出」來贊揚球隊的發揮，覺得這場比賽展現出來的質素很傑出；而能夠在這個艱難的主場射入5球，球員、球隊真的非常突出。

最後他亦回應了上半場蘇亞雷斯禁區被侵犯而未獲12碼的觀點。羅渣士認為在場所有球隊都知道這是一個12碼，但他們沒有什麼可以做的，他明白球證的工作是十分困難的，所以球迷們甚少會聽到他批評球證們的不是。他希望利物浦的球員能夠好好尊重球證。羅渣士強調，雖然這個問題只持續好幾場賽事，或許某一天才能得到正確判決，但他的球員只會繼續專注於球場上的發揮、表現。
