羅渣士非常滿意球隊今場的發揮，認為球員表現出是一隻團隊，他能夠看到球隊今次與聯賽首次迎戰西布朗的分別，球員更加了解他的戰術架構，更清楚知道應該如何取得勝利。

同時，他亦點名稱讚紐尼沙軒的發揮及年輕小將冼佳亞的處子作。羅渣士認為紐尼沙軒賽季前未有投入過球隊的訓練，已在慢慢適應，對於今場2個入球，證明他敢於射門及殺入對方禁區取得入球，表現不錯；小將冼佳亞打破今場以正選上陣 -- 羅賓遜的最年輕上陣記錄，羅渣士對此表示恭喜。
至於球迷歌頌羅渣士為"One Brendan Rodgers"，利物浦教練表示感激，認為球迷的大力鼓勵是他自到步以來一直感受到的事。
