去夏，沙迪奧文尼以3400萬鎊的轉會費從修咸頓轉投利物浦，迄今已為球隊於聯賽貢獻13個入球和6次助攻，表現相當出色，更一度協助紅軍高據英超積分榜的榜首。
不幸的是，這名前修咸頓球員現時由於有膝傷在身，經已提早收咧，但康復進度良好，有望於今夏的季前備戰前傷愈歸來。
